Clerical and Entry Level
Conduct one but generally no more than two interviews.The immediate supervisor may conduct both interviews.

Professional, Non-Managerial
Conduct at least two but generally not more than three interviews. A personnel manager may conduct the initial interview with supervisors conducting subsequent interviews.

Professional, Managerial
Conduct at least two but generally not more than four interviews. A company executive may conduct the initial interview, with other professionals and peers conducting supporting subsequent interviews.

Executive
There may be numerous discussions over a period of time by several members of the organization as well as interviews conducted by outside consultants of the organization.
