Assistant Controller
A growing construction organization is adding a Assistant Controller to oversee billing, project financials, and a small team supporting multiple active job sites. Ideal for someone coming from a larger construction firm who can bring stronger processes, structure, and leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of 2–4 AP/AR/Project Accounting staff
• Manage project billing, pay applications, waivers, and subcontractor payments
• Oversee AR posting and ensure accurate project financial reporting
• Partner with project managers to validate costs and resolve billing issues
• Improve and standardize procedures, workflows, and documentation
• Support technology adoption to streamline accounting processes

What You Bring

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
• Construction industry experience required
• CPA
• Knowledge of SOX and GAAP
• Strong knowledge of construction billing and project accounting
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Stable career history with progression

Yearly Compensation 120,000-$160,000 plus benefits
