Job title: Assistant Controller

Location: On-site with potential for hybrid flexibility | Cleveland, OH

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities (Assistant Controller):

• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and monthly close
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis alongside leadership
• Manage audits, compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Mentor and develop accounting staff, ensuring strong controls and efficiency

Qualifications (Assistant Controller):

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory duties
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
