Key Responsibilities for an Accountant
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Support accounts receivable functions, including tracking and recording booking-related revenue
- Prepare monthly P&L reports, analyzing revenue streams and cost structures
- Assist with month-end close, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Maintain accurate financial records within QuickBooks Desktop and other systems
- Partner with operations to ensure proper revenue recognition and expense tracking
- Support ad hoc reporting and financial analysis as needed
Qualifications for an Accountant
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Desktop required
- Exposure to additional accounting or ERP systems is a plus
- Hands-on experience with both AP and AR functions
- Ability to prepare and analyze P&L statements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fully in-office environment
