Accounting Manager
Salary: $110,000–$130,000
Our client, a well-established and respected manufacturing organization, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its leadership team. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations within a manufacturing environment
- Lead cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and profitability reporting
- Manage inventory accounting, controls, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy
- Direct month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Partner with operations, production, supply chain, and leadership teams to ensure accurate financial analysis and reporting
- Support and help lead the implementation of a new ERP system
- Evaluate and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures
- Mentor and supervise accounting staff, including one direct report
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing
- Strong expertise in cost accounting and inventory management
- Experience participating in or leading ERP implementations
- Solid understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and manufacturing accounting principles
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a collaborative environment
