Accounting and Payroll Manager

Our client, a respected and established company in Fresno County, is seeking an Accounting and Payroll Manager to oversee their payroll operations and support key accounting functions. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of payroll processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Oversee payroll tax reporting, year-end processing, and W-2 preparation
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries related to payroll and benefits
• Reconcile payroll accounts and collaborate with Finance on month-end close
• Assist with audits, including internal, external, and government payroll audits
• Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures
• Partner with HR to ensure proper employee data flow and resolve payroll issues
• Supervise or mentor payroll and accounting support staff, if applicable
