We value integrity, transparency, and service—and we’re looking for a skilled Payroll Accountant to join our finance team and help ensure our employees are compensated accurately and on time.

- Salary range: $85,000-95,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees
- Maintain payroll records, employee timesheets, and related documentation
- Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Reconcile payroll and benefit accounts monthly and support audit requests
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accuracy in benefit deductions and employee status changes
- Prepare payroll journal entries and assist with month-end close
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- File quarterly and annual payroll tax reports as needed
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of payroll accounting experience
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations (CA-specific experience a plus)
