The Opportunity:

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join a passionate finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to the smooth and accurate execution of day-to-day accounting functions. What You’ll Do as an Accounting Specialist:

• Support the accounting team with daily tasks to ensure efficient operations.

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, manage cash receipts, and maintain accurate general ledger entries.

• Collaborate with project managers to assist with project set-up and budgeting.

• As an Accounting Specialist, you’ll ensure timely and accurate invoicing to clients and payments to consultants—always aligned with contract terms.

• Reconcile bank statements, process deposits, and assist with check runs and credit card statement reconciliations.

• Maintain well-organized electronic records and manage accounting documentation.

• Oversee the accounting department’s email inbox and coordinate communication with clients and vendors.

What We’re Looking For in Accounting Specialist Applicants:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

• Recent graduates with internship experience in accounting are encouraged to apply

• Solid understanding of general accounting principles, including AP and AR

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, team-player attitude
