Overview of the Controller role:
The Controller will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for overseeing all global accounting operations, including financial reporting, compliance, tax, audit, multi-plant consolidations, and internal controls. The Controller will lead a growing accounting team and partner closely with manufacturing, operations, and supply chain leadership to drive efficiency, accuracy, and financial clarity throughout the organization.
Preferred Qualifications for the Controller:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership capacity
- Deep knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and regulatory compliance
- Proven experience managing global or multi-entity financial reporting, cost accounting, and audits
- Strong background in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and financial process optimization
- Manufacturing industry experience, including standard costing and inventory accounting
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
