Position Overview for Controller:
We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our leadership team. This role is critical in managing all accounting operations, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in CPG manufacturing environments and thrive in a dynamic, high-volume production setting.

Key Responsibilities of Controller:

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, cost accounting, inventory, AP/AR, and payroll.

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

• Provide financial reporting and analysis to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.

• Own the cost accounting function, ensuring accurate product costing and margin analysis.

• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

• Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing performance, variances, and efficiency opportunities.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.

• Coordinate and support annual audits and tax compliance.

• Evaluate and improve financial systems, processes, and policies as the company grows.

Qualifications of Controller:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Preferred (CPA or CMA strongly preferred).

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a controller or senior accounting leadership role.

• Required: Significant experience in CPG manufacturing, with strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management.

• Expertise in ERP systems and manufacturing financial reporting.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to lead teams, drive process improvements, and collaborate cross-functionally.
