Position Overview for Executive Assistant:
We are seeking a polished, reliable, and highly organized Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the C-suite leadership team, including the CEO and other senior executives. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment, can handle sensitive information with discretion, and has a strong ability to anticipate needs and manage shifting priorities.
Key Responsibilities of Executive Assistant:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the CEO and members of the executive team.
Manage complex calendars, schedule internal and external meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
Serve as the liaison between C-suite executives and staff, board members, donors, and external partners.
Prepare and organize materials for leadership meetings, board meetings, and presentations.
Support meeting logistics, take meeting minutes, and ensure timely follow-ups.
Assist with drafting and editing correspondence, reports, and communications.
Help with event planning and special projects as assigned by the leadership team.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
Qualifications of Executive Assistant:
10+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting C-level executives.
Prior experience in a non-profit or mission-driven organization strongly preferred.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; ability to juggle multiple priorities
High level of professionalism, discretion, and interpersonal savvy.
ADVANCED proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
Additional training or certification in executive support, project management, or nonprofit administration is a plus.
