What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage end-to-end payroll for a multi-state workforce.

• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of payroll specialists.

• Oversee complex compensation items (bonuses, commissions, overtime, incentives).

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.

• Partner with HR & Finance on audits, reconciliations, and reporting.

• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities.

• Manage relationships with vendors and external auditors.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).

• 8+ years of payroll experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role.

• Proven success managing multi-state payroll for large/complex organizations.

• Strong understanding of payroll tax laws, garnishments, benefits deductions, and compliance standards.

• Proficiency with payroll systems (ADP, Workday, UKG, or similar).

• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and integrity handling confidential data.

• Strategic thinker with hands-on leadership skills.
