Senior Accountant
📍 Location: Platteville, CO
💼 Schedule: Hybrid (On-site during training, then hybrid)
💲 Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 annually

About the Company

Our client, a well-established manufacturing organization in Platteville, Colorado, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the company’s accounting operations, with a strong emphasis on Fixed Assets and Accounts Receivable (AR).

This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who thrives in a hands-on role and is looking to grow within a dynamic and stable manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Fixed Assets Management

• Maintain the fixed asset subledger, including tracking additions, disposals, transfers, and calculating depreciation.

• Ensure all capital expenditures are properly documented, approved, and classified in accordance with company policies.

• Prepare fixed asset roll-forwards and support schedules for audits and internal/external financial reporting.

Accounts Receivable

• Oversee the full-cycle AR process, from invoice generation to collections.

• Ensure timely and accurate billing of customers in accordance with contracts and agreements.

• Reconcile AR accounts and assist with month-end close activities, including reporting and analysis.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred)

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment

• Solid understanding of fixed asset accounting and AR functions

• Proficiency in Sage accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently
