Senior Staff Accountant

Our client, a longstanding company with an international presence, is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. This onsite role in Louisville, CO, offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where problem-solving and technical accounting expertise are essential. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. General Ledger & Month-End Close (65%)

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the general ledger, including journal entries and reconciliations.

• Conduct month-end reviews, pull financial statements, and analyze necessary reclassifications.

• Manage prepaids, accruals, and deferred expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Work with multiple entities, including foreign currency transactions, adding complexity to accounting functions.

2. Inventory & Fixed Assets (30%)

• Reconcile and manage inventory accounts, ensuring accurate tracking and valuation.

• Oversee fixed assets, including reconciliation of Construction in Progress (CIP) accounts.

• Collaborate with the operations team to verify open sales orders, resolve discrepancies, and track inventory movement.

3. Reporting & Ad Hoc Analysis (5%)

• Generate and analyze month-end KPI reports.

• Provide financial insights and support ad hoc reporting needs.

• Assist in ongoing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• NetSuite experience is a must.

• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, prepaids, accruals, and journal entries.

• Experience managing multi-entity accounting with foreign currency and intercompany transactions.

• Ability to reconcile complex accounts, including inventory and fixed assets.

• Proficiency in Excel, including SUM/IF, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Proactive and organized, with the ability to communicate updates effectively.
