Job Description:
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Our client is a growing, family-owned business in Hartford. They are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Finance team.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
- The Senior Accountant will prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
- The Senior Accountant will assist the Controller in a variety of ad hoc projects
Experience preferred for the Senior Accountant:
- Must have BS in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 3-5 years related accounting experience
- Advanced MS Excel skills including v-lookups and pivot tables experience
Salary:
- Pay rate will be $35-38/hour
