About the Credit Specialist Role:
- Generate and analyze aging reports to monitor outstanding receivables and identify high-risk accounts
- Analyze customer account financials, payment history, sales/profit, future sales potential, and previous collection efforts to establish lines of credit, payment terms, and credit-holds
- Manage collection efforts on past-due accounts, including direct outreach to customer AP departments
- Maintain accurate records of credit approvals, customer communications, and collection activities
- Support month-end closing by reconciling AR balances and ensuring accurate reporting of credit-related activity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous credit experience
- Can communicate effectively
- Basic excel skills
- Willingness to learn
