Job Description:

Administrative Support – HR & Accounting
Location: In-office, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Join a well-established company in the building supply industry, dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional service to contractors, builders, and service professionals.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our corporate office functions through a dual-role in Human Resources and Accounting Administration. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys variety in their day-to-day tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Support

  • Process vendor invoices and track payments

  • Assist with accounts payable/receivable and month-end closing

  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records

  • Handle petty cash and assist with cash flow management

  • Organize and maintain filing systems for accounting documents

HR Support

  • Coordinate recruitment efforts: job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling

  • Maintain employee records and assist with benefits administration

  • Support reporting on headcount, turnover, and other HR metrics

  • Help organize training sessions and track participation

  • Respond to employee questions related to HR policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, HR, or related field preferred

  • 1–2 years of experience in administrative support, preferably with HR or accounting exposure

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Familiar with accounting software and file management systems

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
