We are working with one of Washington, DC’s most prestigious private clubs to hire a talented Senior Accountant to join their well-respected and long-tenured team. This position is on office/onsite 5 days a week and provides an excellent work life balance and flexibility! Base Salary: $80,000-$95,000

Senior Accountant Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
• Support budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and oversee daily accounting functions
• Partner with food & beverage and other operational departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Support the annual audit process and ensure regulatory compliance
• Provide strategic support and coverage to the CFO

Senior Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field(required)
• 3-5+ years of professional accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
• Experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or hotel environments is a plus
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel
• Collaborative, professional, and highly organized
