Audit Manager
Location: Melbourne, FL
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 + Bonus

A well-established CPA firm in the Greater Orlando area is seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to lead and manage audit engagements. This role is ideal for a CPA with a strong background in public accounting, hands-on audit experience, and proven leadership skills. The Audit Supervisor will oversee the full audit process, collaborate with clients, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Audit Engagements: Manage all phases of audit engagements, from planning to final reporting, ensuring efficiency and adherence to high-quality standards.

• Supervise and Develop Staff: Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to audit team members to support their professional growth.

• Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing insights, and fostering strong business relationships.

• Risk Assessment & Compliance: Conduct risk assessments, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and identify areas for process improvements.

• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of audit reports and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP and other standards.

• Process Improvement: Contribute to enhancing audit methodologies and best practices within the firm.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree preferred.

• Certification: Active CPA license required.

• Experience: Minimum of 6+ years in audit, including 2+ years in a supervisory role (CPA firm experience strongly preferred).

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in audit software, MS Office Suite, GAAP, and other accounting standards.
