Overview of the Accounts Payable Specialist Role:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will support the accounting department with full-cycle AP responsibilities, including:

• Processing a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and on time

• Matching, batching, and coding invoices for payment

• Managing vendor relationships and resolving discrepancies

• Assisting with weekly check runs and electronic payments

• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

• Reconciling AP aging and preparing reports for management

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a large company environment

• Experience working in high-volume AP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP a plus)

• Strong Excel skills – comfortable with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs

• Detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a structured team setting

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
