About the Role – Accounting Manager
The Accounting Manager will oversee financial operations, ensuring accurate preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports of a new acquisition. Responsibilities include guiding executives in financial decisions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and specializing in areas like payables, budgeting, or cost reduction. This role involves supervising daily activities, developing systems for data collection and reporting, and managing the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable, including posting, aging, invoicing, and reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and monitor budgets.
• Track and report sales activity and commissions.
• Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Provide senior management with financial reports and projections.
• Supervise, train, and develop accounting team, assign tasks and resolve issues.
• Complete additional projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications of Accounting Manager:
• CPA (preferred not required)
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or a minimum of two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
