What You’ll Do as an Accounts Payable Specialist:

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll contribute to the company’s operational excellence by managing essential accounting functions and supporting internal and external stakeholders. In this role, the Accounts Payable Specialist will:

• Perform detailed reviews of vendor billing and expense reports (including utilities) and reconcile general ledger accounts to support accurate period-end close.

• As an Accounts Payable Specialist, prepare and post journal entries that comply with GAAP standards, maintaining financial accuracy and integrity.

• Collaborate with on-site processors and provide guidance, issue resolution, and policy compliance in your Accounts Payable Specialist capacity.

• Partner with teams such as Corporate Reporting, Treasury, and Finance to streamline transaction processing and resolve cross-functional issues.

• Monitor vendor invoice submissions, maintain communication, and build strong vendor relationships—all key duties of an Accounts Payable Specialist.

What You Bring to the Accounts Payable Specialist Role:

• At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting roles.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant work experience.

• Familiarity with Oracle or large ERP systems is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of AP processes and foundational accounting principles.

• Proficiency in Excel (e.g., PivotTables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS) and Microsoft Office tools.
