Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Supervisor

• Verify, review, and process invoices, check requests, and expense reports.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Communicate with vendors to address payment inquiries and maintain accurate vendor account information as an Accounts Payable Supervisor.
• Prepare and distribute accounts payable checks and manage electronic payments.
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions to ensure success in the Accounts Payable Supervisor role.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations, including preparing and filing forms.
• Generate and analyze accounts payable reports for management.
• Assist with month-end closing and year-end audit processes.
• Coordinate with the field AP team and provide feedback for process improvements.
• Support the ERP conversion to Sage Intacct for enhanced efficiency as an Accounts Payable Supervisor

Requirements for the Accounts Payable Supervisor

• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, ideally in an Accounts Payable Supervisor capacity.
• Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills (assessment required).
• Construction industry experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct, Titanium, or similar accounting tools is a plus.
• Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
