They are seeking a highly skilled Controller to lead their accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue collection, fixed assets, payroll, payroll taxes, and banking services.

• Direct the preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and interim financial reports.

• Lead the design, selection, and implementation of automated financial information management systems.

• Manage general ledger activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, and journal entries.

• Administer the organization’s credit card program and maintain relationships with banking partners.

• Interpret and enforce financial policies; sign financial documents in the absence of senior leadership.

• Lead and develop a team of two, driving workflow improvements and supporting special projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Active CPA designation required.

• 4+ years of progressive financial management experience, including financial reporting.

• Strong knowledge of governmental accounting principles, US GAAP, and financial management systems.

• Experience in cost and managerial accounting, investments, and debt management.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to plan, delegate, and develop team members.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
