With nearly 150 years of combined experience, they are focused on strategic acquisitions and efficient property management to drive long-term success. They are seeking a Property Accountant to join their team and play a key role in managing financial operations.

Property Accountant Responsibilities:

• The Property Accountant will oversee fund-level accounting, including real estate taxes, insurance, and debt service.

• Manage escrow accounts for insurance, taxes, and capital improvements as a Property Accountant.

• Prepare monthly cash forecasts, reconciliations, and investor capital balance reports.

• Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations, track term loans, and monitor cost of goods sold.

• Process monthly sales and use tax filings as part of the Property Accountant role.

Qualifications for the Property Accountant Role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in property or hotel accounting.

• Strong understanding of GAAP principles, a key skill for a Property Accountant.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), essential for success as a Property Accountant.
