About the Company & the Senior Accountant Role:

Our client has innovative business units and a large accounting team that fosters promotion from within. The Senior Accountant will report to the Finance Manager. This is a dynamic role that offers a blend of accounting and finance!

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Assist with month-end closing, preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements.
• Perform monthly closing entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• The Senior Accountant will handle the GL, daily and weekly job costing
• Maintains fixed asset files and support annual audit coordination.
• Provide backup support for Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) as needed.
• The Senior Accountant assists with forecasting, financial analysis, and quarterly/annual tax filings.
• Executive level exposure

Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
• 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments.
• Comfortable communicating with all levels of an organization
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
