Staff/Senior Accountant
Location: Sarasota, Florida
Salary: $65,000 – $75,000

A growing real estate property management firm is looking for a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This role reports directly to the Controller and offers a great opportunity for professional growth within a high-performing organization.

What You'll Do:

• Support daily accounting operations in collaboration with the Controller.

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely, accurate reporting.

• Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end close processes.

• Contribute to budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Monitor financial performance and help identify process improvements.

• Assist with AP and AR as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 2+ years of accounting experience (real estate industry experience a plus).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, formulas).

• Property management and YARDI experience are highly desirable.

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
