Accounts Payable Specialist
Venice, Florida
Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist, responsible for processing and managing invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and maintaining financial records in support of the organization’s accounting functions. Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
- Verify invoices, match purchase orders, and obtain necessary approvals.
- Process ACH payments, reconcile accounts, and resolve vendor discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor records, including W-9s and liability insurance.
- Assist with year-end 1099 preparation and audit documentation.
- Complete monthly credit card reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Identify process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide administrative support and assist with special projects as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality, compliance, and organization of financial records.
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Working knowledge of accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency in Excel
Salary: $40,000-$48,000
