Key Responsibilities of the Corporate Controller:

• Oversee daily corporate accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across all financial activities.

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports; analyze performance, identify trends, and communicate insights to leadership.

• Manage the general ledger and ensure full compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.

• Lead the development and implementation of robust accounting policies and procedures.

• Supervise tax preparation and ensure ongoing compliance with all tax obligations.

• Oversee partnership accounting, capital accounts, allocations, and consolidation processes.

• Leverage Oracle systems for financial reporting, modeling, and performance tracking.

• Coordinate with offshore teams to maintain operational excellence and process efficiency.

• Support audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.

• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align financial operations with business objectives.

• Mentor and develop accounting team members, fostering a high-performance and integrity-driven culture.
  
  

Qualifications for the Corporate Controller:

• CPA certification is required.

• 12–15 years of corporate accounting experience, must have experience in asset management or financial services.

• Expertise in Oracle and advanced accounting software systems.

• Strong background in partnership accounting and financial consolidations.

• Demonstrated success managing offshore accounting teams.

• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax compliance, and internal controls.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Ability to communicate complex financial data to diverse stakeholders with clarity and professionalism.
