Corporate Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Controller to lead our corporate accounting team in Atlanta. This role requires expertise in asset management accounting, Oracle, partnership accounting, and consolidations, with strong analytical and leadership skills to oversee third-party offshore resources.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily corporate accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, analyze trends, and provide insights to management.
• Manage the general ledger, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Develop budgets, forecast performance, and analyze variances.
• Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Oversee tax preparation and compliance.
• Handle partnership accounting, including capital account statements and consolidations.
• Utilize Oracle for financial reporting and analysis.
• Coordinate and train third-party offshore resources for efficient collaboration.
• Collaborate with external auditors and support audit processes.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• CPA certification required.
• 12-15 years of corporate accounting experience in financial services, preferably asset management.
• Proficiency in Oracle and relevant accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of partnership accounting and tax compliance.
• Proven experience managing third-party offshore resources.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy, strong work ethic, and integrity.
