Core Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant
As a Senior Accountant, your daily impact will include:

• Reconciling revenue and expense data across inventory subledgers and the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Supporting revenue recognition processes, including the processing and analysis of sales data and product exchanges

• Managing and improving AR processes—posting payments, conducting credit analyses, reviewing overdue accounts, and leading collections efforts

• Communicating credit policies clearly and effectively to customers, and maintaining productive vendor and customer relationships

• Leading AR management meetings and providing executive summaries on collections and cash flow

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly journal entries and participating in the monthly financial close process

• Partnering with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely billing, inventory control, and proper revenue recognition

• Supporting internal and external audits, capital expenditure tracking, and asset reconciliations

• Contributing to the development of budgets and forecasts through data modeling and variance analysis

• Reviewing AP entries, ensuring proper GL coding, and guiding junior accounting team members
  
  

What We’re Looking for in a Senior Accountant

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required

• Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in accounting or audit; public accounting background is a plus

• Certifications: CPA or CMA preferred but not required

• Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Experience with GP/MS Dynamics is a strong plus

• Skillset: Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, time management, and communication skills. Ability to thrive under pressure and juggle multiple responsibilities

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
