Accounting Supervisor

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a High-Performing Team: Supervise and mentor a team of three accountants, fostering collaboration, ensuring deadlines are met, and conducting performance reviews.
• Drive Financial Insights: Leverage NetSuite saved searches to analyze data, identify trends, and deliver actionable reports to leadership.
• Optimize NetSuite: Become a NetSuite expert, creating and refining saved searches to enhance reporting and system efficiency while maintaining data integrity.
• Manage Core Accounting: Oversee month-end/year-end closes, general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and fixed asset schedules, ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Streamline AP/AR: Supervise accounts payable/receivable, approve invoices, and collaborate with credit/collections for accuracy and timeliness.
• Enhance Processes: Identify opportunities for process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support audits with precision.
• Support Strategic Goals: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to guide business decisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Proven experience in NetSuite
  • Hands-on experience creating and optimizing saved searches a strong plus
• Strong grasp of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in high-volume accounting environments
• Background with mid-sized companies of similar revenue scale
