Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Location: Bartlett, IL
Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000 + Discretionary Bonus

Our client, a well-established and growing company in Bartlett, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is eager to learn and grow within the payroll and accounting field. The company offers training, mentorship, and exposure to a variety of payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process biweekly payroll accurately and in compliance with applicable laws and company policies

• Maintain payroll records and ensure proper documentation of all employee changes

• Assist with payroll-related reporting and reconciliations

• Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner

• Support HR and Finance teams with payroll data and reporting needs

• Stay informed on payroll regulations and assist in implementing necessary updates

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with payroll software a plus

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Eagerness to learn and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
