Accounts Receivable Specialist

Salary: $55,000-$68,000

A well-established industrial manufacturer in the southwest suburbs of Chicago is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to take ownership of full-cycle AR processes in a close-knit, collaborative environment. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with leadership and be part of a loyal, long-tenured team within a stable and supportive business.

This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities as the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

• Manage full cycle Accounts Receivable, including customer setup, payment processing and collection

• Apply checks, wire transfers and reconcile bank data

• Issue credit memos for returns, discounts and freight adjustments

• Collaborate with AP and incoming records team to ensure accurate financial flow

Ideal Background for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, but not required

• 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable

• Prior experience in an industrial B2B environment (manufacturing, distribution, etc.)

• Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and communication skills
