Accounts Payable Manager

What You’ll Do as the Accounts Payable Manager:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the AP department
• Manage and support AP staff, including hiring, training, and performance reviews
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
• Monitor and maintain accuracy of vendor data and AP transactions
• Lead month-end close for AP and support audits (financial and SOX)
• Manage employee expense systems (Concur, corporate cards, etc.)
• Support annual 1099 filings
• Track and report on AP metrics
• Recommend and help implement process improvements and system upgrades
• Handle ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed

Requirements of the Accounts Payable Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of AP experience, including team management
• Strong Excel and Word skills
• Experience with large ERP systems (SAP a plus)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Proactive, reliable, and a team player
