Chief Financial Officer
About the Organization:
The Chief Financial Officer is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization. The Chief Financial Officer will ensure financial integrity, sustainability, and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This role involves strategic planning, budgeting, financial reporting, risk management, and guiding the organization's long-term financial vision in alignment with its mission.

Key Responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer:
- Develop and manage the organization’s annual budget and long-term financial forecasts.
- Oversee accounting, finance, and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- The Chief Financial Officer will prepare monthly and annual financial statements and present key insights to leadership and the board.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and non-profit financial best practices.
- Manage audits, grants, and funding sources, including donor reporting.
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial planning with program goals.
- Supervise and develop finance staff and support systems as needed.
What we are seeking from a Chief Financial Officer Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA) desired.
- Preference for 10 years of financial leadership experience from a non-profit environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting principles.
- Proven strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
