Creative Financial Staffing is working with a well established Chicago based company to identify a Controller.

• Annual compensation of $180,000-$200,000 + Bonus

Duties Of The Controller

• Preparation of GAAP financial statements and supplemental financial reports for private equity (PE) owners, bank lenders, and Executive management.
• Oversee month end close and all GL activities
• Lead the accounting team by bringing the technical know-how to interact and interface with auditors and continue to develop the accounting team.
• Interact effectively with all department leaders within the company, this role needs a desire to deepen relationships with internal and external partners of the organization.
  

What Qualifies you for the Controller Role?

• 12+years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience managing a team of at least 10
• M&A transaction background
• Detail orientated ability, but also having the big picture in mind and the ability to present financials to owners.
• Systems savvy abilities with Excel and middle to large size ERP systems.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and lead process improvements.
• CPA
