Overview of the role:

• Responsible for accurate preparation of journal entries
• Assist with preparation of daily bank reconciliations, financial report preparation and analysis
• Assist with accounts payable, fixed asset, prepaid and accrual reporting
• Prepare regulatory and income tax reporting
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations
• This role reports directly to vice president/controller
• Responsible for preparing regulatory reports including weekly and quarterly reports
• Help with daily cash position monitoring
• Assist with annual budget and preparation of annual financial statements
• Assist with audit support and maintaining internal controls
• Help identify and implement process improvements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-6 years of relevant experience, Audit or financial service industries would be big plus
• CPA or working towards CPA
• Would look at someone with 2+ years of audit or transaction advisory from a top 10 accounting firm
