Staff Accountant
Location: Chicago, IL
Job Description:
Our client, an accounting firm located in the south Chicago suburbs, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the growing team! This is an ideal position for someone looking to work with a well established team and grow their accounting career.

Duties: Staff Accountant
- Smaller company client bookkeeping , they are local clients in the Chicago area sending them files on QuickBooks online
- Research documents including bank statements from clients to do their bookkeeping tasks
- Bank reconciliations
- Payroll tax calculations using QuickBooks or ADP reports
- Sorting and filtering data in Excel
- Use the Match and Index functions in QuickBooks online
- ProSystem fx Tax software is used here may gain exposure.
Experience Preferred: Staff Accountant
- Associates in Accounting or Bachelors in Accounting
- Strong understanding of QuickBooks online
- Detailed and organized
- Willing to grow in responsibilities
