Staff Accountant
Location: Chicago, IL
Job Description:
CFS is paired with a non profit organization looking to add a Staff Accountant to their team! They are experiencing growth and need to add this member to this collaborative team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to transition into out of public accounting and join a mission based company!

Responsibilities: Staff Accountant
- Preparation of the Designated Funds and financial statements
- Provide support for the annual external audit
- Further build out and enhance the usage of the One Stream GAAP reporting tool
- Implement accounting standard updates
- Expand the analysis of all GAAP financial statements to improve management decision-making
Requirements: Staff Accountant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Public accounting experience a plus
- Financial statement / footnote preparation experience
- Strong attention to detail
