Accounts Payable Specialist – Elk Grove Village, IL | $55,000–$60,000 + Benefits

Are you a reliable Accounts Payable Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, small-team environment? A growing industrial manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to handle high-volume invoice processing and vendor management onsite in Elk Grove Village.

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will:

• Process 300+ vendor invoices per week using AS400 / Mapics (green screen)

• Perform 3-way match (invoice, purchase order, packing slip)

• Code invoices to the appropriate GL accounts

• Manage weekly check runs, ensuring high-dollar payments are reviewed and signed

• Communicate with vendors and handle check mailing weekly

• Cross-train and provide payroll backup when needed

What we’re looking for in an Accounts Payable Specialist:

• 2+ years of experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist in a high-volume environment

• Familiarity with AS400 / Mapics or similar ERP systems preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in invoice processing

• Clear communicator with excellent organizational skills

• Ability to work onsite full-time in Elk Grove Village
