Job Description:
Senior Tax Accountant
Our client has a new opportunity for a Senior Tax Accountant. Long established firm that handles work for very high profile, multiple and multi-generational families. Responsible for preparing a broad range of complex income tax returns, tax planning and research.
Senior Tax Accountant Responsibilities:
- Prepare complex income tax returns, 1041, 1065 and 990-PF
- State and federal tax
- Tax planning, quarterly tax estimates, and tax research
- Assist with trust accounting, preparing estate and gift tax returns
Ideal Senior Tax Accountant criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree a plus
- CPA a plus
- state and or federal tax experience is a must
- Experience preparing complex fiduciary and partnership income tax returns
- 4 + years experience
- Public accounting experience is preferred
- Excellent presentation skills
- Willingness to learn and assist in a wide range of accounting and general firm activities
