Staff Accountant

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to grow your career in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their finance team and support key accounting functions, including fixed assets, month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

• Manage and maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules

• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting

• Prepare and post journal entries across multiple general ledger accounts

• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances

• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance teams

Qualifications for Staff Accountant:

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of fixed assets and general ledger accounting

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with SAP or another major ERP system is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
