Position: Assistant Controller
Location: Elkhart, IN (100% onsite)

Overview of the Assistant Controller role:
• Assist the Controller in managing accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis by providing detailed financial data and insights.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications for the Assistant Controller role:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting or financial management, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

Salary: $75,000.00 to $120,000.00 depending on experience
