The Logistics Customer Service Representative serves as the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring smooth coordination of freight and transportation services. You'll play a critical role in managing communication between customers, carriers, and internal teams.
Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, issues, and requests related to shipments.
Track and trace shipments, providing real-time updates to clients.
Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups, deliveries, and resolve any service-related issues.
Enter and update shipment details accurately in transportation management systems (TMS).
Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure on-time and accurate service delivery.
Investigate and resolve service failures, billing discrepancies, or delivery concerns.
Maintain positive relationships with clients by providing timely updates and proactive communication.
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or customer service.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with TMS or CRM systems.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
