As a Controller, you will oversee diverse accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, revenue, asset, cost, and tax accounting. Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Establish and monitor internal control systems to protect company assets and meet regulatory standards.
• Deliver insightful financial reporting to assist the executive team in strategic decision-making.
• Partner with senior leadership to create financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Direct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to optimize financial planning.
• Ensure flawless preparation of financial reports and compliance with financial regulations.
• Conduct audits, liaise with external auditors, and uphold robust internal controls.

Qualifications for the Controller Role:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; a Master's degree is a bonus!
• 8+ years of corporate accounting experience, preferably within a service-oriented industry.
• Proficiency in GAAP and multi-state employer regulations.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.
• Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
• A "can-do" attitude and the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.

Location: This hybrid position requires candidates within a short commute distance to thrive in a collaborative setup that blends in-office and remote work. Local candidates are highly preferred.
Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000
