About the Role

The Accounting Assistant will play a key role in supporting daily accounting operations, assisting with financial transactions, and maintaining accurate records. This position is ideal for someone organized, reliable, and eager to grow their career in accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

• Reconcile bank and credit card statements

• Maintain accurate accounting records and files

• Support payroll processing as needed

• Assist in preparing financial reports and spreadsheets

• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding billing and payments

• Perform general administrative support for the accounting team

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting tools

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Basic understanding of accounting principles

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
