Job Title: Accounts Receivable Coordinator
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Coordinator to support their finance operations. The accounts receivable coordinator will be responsible for managing incoming payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position plays a key role in ensuring the client receives timely payments for goods and services rendered.
Key Responsibilities:
The accounts receivable coordinator will generate and send invoices to the client’s customers and partners.
Monitor customer accounts for non-payment, delayed payment, and other billing discrepancies.
The accounts receivable coordinator will proactively contact customers to resolve outstanding balances and ensure prompt collections.
Accurately apply payments to customer accounts and reconcile any discrepancies that may arise.
Assist in preparing regular reports related to accounts receivable aging and collection activity for the client’s finance team.
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all financial transactions within the client’s accounting system.
The accounts receivable coordinator will work closely with the client’s sales and customer service departments to address and resolve billing issues.
Provide support during monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings as they relate to accounts receivable.
The accounts receivable coordinator will respond to internal and external inquiries concerning receivables and billing.
Ensure adherence to the client’s internal policies and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an accounts receivable coordinator or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP.
Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
