We are seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Manager to lead and enhance our safety programs within the construction sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all health and safety protocols to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.
Develop and Enforce Safety Policies: Create and maintain comprehensive safety policies and procedures in line with OSHA standards and industry best practices.
Conduct Training and Education: Organize and lead safety training sessions for employees at all levels, ensuring understanding and compliance with safety protocols.
Perform Site Inspections: Regularly inspect construction sites to identify potential hazards, ensuring that safety measures are effectively implemented.
Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into any workplace accidents or near-misses, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all safety practices comply with applicable laws and regulations, maintaining necessary records and documentation.
Promote Safety Culture: Foster a company-wide culture that prioritizes safety, encouraging proactive identification and mitigation of risks.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a safety leadership role within the construction industry.
Certifications: Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), OSHA 30/500 are highly desirable.
Skills: Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, excellent communication and leadership skills, and proficiency in safety management software.
