Job Title: Senior Accountant

About the Role

The Senior Accountant will handle complex accounting tasks, assist with financial reporting, and support month-end and year-end close processes. This position is ideal for a self-motivated accounting professional who enjoys both analytical work and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes

• Compile and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP

• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations

• Support the budgeting and forecasting process

• Collaborate with auditors during annual audits

• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

• Assist with special accounting projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA track preferred)

• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices

• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
